Jose-Guillermo Diaz:

El Director

A Parsons The New School for Design (NY) grad, with a Masters degree from Full Sail University, he has done and seen it all.  Years of experience as a communication designer, and owner of a marketing agency, have made Jose-Guillermo Diaz a highly respected professional and educator.

JG, as he likes to be called, values a perfect balance between utility and beauty. His passion for visual discovery, shared with his fascination for listening, has helped him develop remarkable visual solutions for his client’s communication needs; and has inspired the career of many of his advertising students. JG’s experience spans 30+ years, during which he has held positions with Interior Design Magazine (Design Director), Ogilvy/ Miami (Senior Art Director), fourdiaz vargas, (Partner, and Creative Director), fourdiaz design, (Creative Partner), AAF Miami (Former President and Current AAF Scholarship Foundation Trustee) and, finally, his crowning career achievement, Co-Founder / Director of Miami Ad School Punta Cana.  His work has graced clients including IBM, KODAK, American Express, BP/Castrol, Swisher International, and DISNEY/ LatAm among many more.

Jose-Guillermo was selected Advertising Person of the Year in 2003 and 2014, and in 2009 was awarded the AAF Silver Medal Award for his contribution to the local advertising community.

Willie Diaz:

Creative Chairman
Born in New York, and raised in Miami, Willie is a Creative Director dedicated to creating compelling, useful and beautiful brand experiences.

Willie played an integral role in the brand and creative development for a variety of clients including Converse, Motorola, Harley-Davidson, Cole Haan, Fidelity Investments, First Data, Xerox, Conduent and IBM. Most recently as a Creative Director on IBM and Xerox, he has led award-winning brand and digital design engagements, including annual reports, corporate communications, event design, identity development, employee engagement and first-of-a-kind digital marketing platforms and products.

Additionally, Willie has leveraged his background at the intersection of brand and advertising to co-found Miami Ad School Punta Cana with the singular mission of putting Latin American creativity on a converging path with where the American and European advertising industries will be in the future. In addition to his role as Creative Chairman of MAS PC, Willie continues to consult for brands—large and small—who are looking to bring their values and story to life in new and compelling ways.

Zeli Diaz:

Operations Goddess
Zeli started her carrier in advertising 32 years ago at Siboney Advertising-NY where she was trained in agency procedures and structure.

She has been responsible for the development and implementation of the Traffic system of prestigious agencies like The Bravo Group-NY, Ogilvy & Mather-Miami, Bates South-Miami and la Comunidad-Miami. As the Traffic Director she was instrumental in the training of young passionate individuals wanting to learn the ad agency structure and departments interaction. She has worked on the coordination of project workflows for clients such as Payless, AT&T, IBM, American Express, Bellsouth, Mercedes-Benz, Citibank among others.

After retiring from the advertising world, she has dedicated her time to design one-of-a-kind jewelry under her own brand, jewelry by atabey.

Chris Diaz:

Financial Guy
Chris is the only person in his family who is not afraid of numbers. In fact, he loves numbers! Even numbers. Odd numbers. Prime numbers. All types!

His love of numbers led him to Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management and a Master's degree in Finance.

Chris has put his skills to use at a law firm, advertising agency and wealth management firm. This has allowed him to view the world of finance through distinct and contrasting lenses. This unique perspective on finance drives Chris to maintain Miami Ad School Punta Cana in pristine fiscal health to achieve its goals of cultivating and nurturing the best creative minds in the region.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys golfing and helping financially clueless creatives stay on budget and forecast future cash flows.
